Position Overview

This position plays an instrumental role in promoting our mission within and outside our community through the design and execution of events. These events support meaningful connections, strategic fundraising initiatives, and promote our school's identity. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning and Management: Lead the planning and execution of a diverse range of events, from fundraising galas to cultural celebrations, ensuring each event reflects ACS’s mission and values.

  • Advancement and Fundraising Support: Collaborate with our Advancement Office to craft engaging donor experiences that strengthen relationships and encourage philanthropic support.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build meaningful connections with donors, alumni, parents, students, and community members to foster long-term support for ACS.

  • Promotional Material Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials that effectively communicate our brand and mission.

  • Budget and Vendor Management: Ensure financial accountability while negotiating favorable terms with vendors to deliver high-quality services

Your Required Competencies

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Bulgarian.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship-building.

  • Proven organizational abilities with experience in project management.

  • A goal-oriented mindset with adaptability to work collaboratively or independently.

Your Preferred Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

  • Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or advancement in an educational or nonprofit organization.

  • Familiarity with alumni engagement and stewardship best practices.
