ACS Students Participation at IMUNA Conference in Alkmaar, the Netherlands

The model UN activities have a history of over 15 years at ACS.  At the beginning of June thirteen ACS students led by Mrs Rashova, MUN club adviser, and Mrs Velinova, attended the conference in Alkmar. The main topic of the UN simulations was "Global sharing."

Our students presented Norway, the ambassador of which was Ivo Genev (10/9), and the Republic of South Africa with ambassador Anton Kavaldzhiev (11/1). 95% of the organization was left to the students. They practically managed all the steps of preparation and realization of the event. Unlike other international Model UN conferences, at this one nobody was introduced as a representative of a certain school or a certain country - only the country that was presented mattered. The atmosphere was very friendly.  There were 400 students from all over the world.

Our ambassadors delivered speeches at the Closing ceremony!
