Support the College
Philanthropic giving is, and has been since day one, an essential part of ACS's finances. It makes what we achieve at the college possible.
"So far as I know, this is the only instance of a local government making a grant-in-aid to any American educational institution in the Near East or the Balkans," wrote Floyd Black, the long-serving president of the American College, referring to the fact that the Sofia campus was funded, in part, by the sale of 15,000 cubic meters of timber granted to the college by the Bulgarian government. "It is a striking indication of the good will between Bulgarians and Americans," Black added.
These days, gifts are used to fund scholarships, faculty development, and capital improvements to the College. Donations of all amounts are welcome.
There are four ways to make a gift to the College: online, wire/bank transfer, check, or in person.

Georgi KlissurskiACS Class of 2010
I want to make sure ACS keeps attracting the most incredible individuals, and preparing Bulgaria’s most capable students for a life of significant impact. Empowering alumni to support ACS financially so it can become more affordable for all Bulgarian families is thus paramount.
Nikola KouzmanovACS Class of 2002
I want to help kids with the skills and drive, but without the required finances, have the chance to experience and achieve the high-quality education (academic and personal) that I believe ACS provides and has certainly provided me.
Kalina ManovaACS Class of 1998
I have only fond memories and boundless gratitude and pride for ACS, so it is a delight to be able to support its mission going forward.
