Konstantin Karchev wins a silver medal from the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA)

Konstantin Karchev from the ACS Class of 2015 won a silver medal at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) in Sucaeva, Romania. The event took place between August 1 and August 11 and brought together almost 200 students from India, Singapore, Iran, Russia, Romania, South Korea, and many other countries. Konstantin’s impressive result of 89,12% not only brought him a medal, but made him the only Bulgarian with a trophy from this year’s Olympiad.
