ACS Arts Fest 2015

On June 6 our traditional Arts Fest took place. We had beautiful weather, and many students, parents, alumni, and friends of the College came to celebrate with us.

The opening event was a Classical Spotlight and Literary Reading held in the Concert Hall. After that, the Arts Fest Showcase at the Whitaker Auditorium attracted many guests who enjoyed the performances of the BG Drama Club, the Modern Dance Group, the ACS English Drama/Musical Club, as well as of some individual performers. The Fountain Magazine organized a literary reading on the Stage of Life in Dafina Garden.

The outside activities included entertainments for kids and adults – an inflatable slide, face painting, sponge throw, chess tournament, BBQ, international food sale, and, of course, horseback riding. At the end of the festival, the pop and rock music fans gathered in front of the outdoor stage to enjoy the performances of their favorite ACS bands.

We would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s festival: our student and teacher volunteers, our clubs that donated most of their proceedings to the Arts Program, our parents and the PTA. Last but not least, we are all very grateful to the companies, organizations, and individuals who supported the festival with prizes for the raffle, this year providing over a hundred prizes. Once again, thanks everyone for being part of Arts Fest 2015!

You can see photos from the event in the photo gallery of the website.
