Acclaimed Lithuanian-American author Ruta Sepetys will read from her work and meet with all interested students from 13:50 until 14:15 in Whitaker Auditorium.
Next, Ms. Sepetys will move to the Concert Hall for a discussion with students with a specific interest in writing and literature from 14:20 until 14:55.
Ms. Sepetys is the author of five best-selling books. Prior to launching her career as a writer, she founded an entertainment management company in Los Angeles and was mentioned in Rolling Stone Magazine. Since becoming a best-selling author, she has won the Carnegie Medal and been honored by Lithuania, who put her image on a stamp. Her work has recently been translated into Bulgarian by Ciela publishing.
