The Most Compelling Book You Have Read?

Last Sunday almost 500 students took the ACS entrance exam. Here is the composition we challenged them to write:

“What is the most significant and compelling book that you have read?"

Instructions:

Write a composition, by completing the following tasks:

1.      Explain why the book moved you, and how did it achieve it – for example: with the narrator’s voice and an idea or a character, or the story, or knowledge you gained.

2.      Explain what is the worthy message of this book and why it is important to you. Is it important to others? Will it still be important in 30 years, and why?
