Table Tennis Success

The ACS Table Tennis teams attended the third round of the table tennis tournament School Games 2014-2015. On April 24 the ACS Girls Table Tennis team ranked first in Sofia for a fourth consecutive year, thus qualifying for the National tournament round that will take place in the period May 15 – May 17 in Varna.

The winning Girls’ team was composed entirely of 8th graders: Rumina Georgieva (8/6), Kristina Kapitanova(8/7), and Kristina Georgieva (8/8). Rumina won the individual competition and became individual champion of Sofia. Bravo!

On April 23 the Boys’s table tennis team won the bronze medals. Congratulations to Mark Hadzhizhekov (9/4), Nikolay Budurov (10/1), Simeon Stefanov (10/8), and Milen Apostolov (10/8)! Mark managed to reach the semifinals in the individual tournament and ranked 4th.
