Reception of Ambassador Warlick in Honor of the 150th Anniversary of the College
On October 21, Ambassador James Warlick held a reception at his residence in honor of the 150th Anniversary Celebration of the American College of Sofia.
Among the guests who came to express their respect to our school, one of the oldest American educational institutions outside the US, were government and state officials, representatives of companies and organizations that support ACS, faculty members, alumni, PTA members, and friends of the school. Mr. Warlick congratulated the ACS senior administration and teachers on the occasion of the Anniversary and pointed out the excellent academic reputation of the school and its well-prepared students. Ambassador Warlick wished for ACS to keep up the good work for at least 1000 more years. On behalf of the College, Dr. Paul Johnson, President, and William J. Williams, Jr., Chairman of the Board of Trustees, thanked Ambassador Warlick and the businesses and institutions for supporting the school through the years and during the preparation for the 150th Anniversary Celebration. Their support has made it possible for the school to exist and for guests at the reception to proudly celebrate 150 years since the founding of the College.
