Prize Winning ACS Teacher

ACS History teacher Мr. Ivaylo Dimitrov received a prize as a successful Table Tennis Coach on November 10.

ACS Boys Table Tennis Team ranked second in the City Student Games 2010-2011.
The Awards ceremony for teachers coaching sports teams that have distinguished themselves in the City Student Games 2010-2011 took place in the new sports complex Arena Armeec. The official ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Physical Education and Sports, Ministry of Education and Science, Bulgarian Olympic Committee, National Federations, NSA V. Levski, Bulgarian Association for Sport for students, Sofia Municipal Council, mayors of regional administrations, directors, and teachers of educational institutions in Sofia.

Deputy Mayor of Sofia Lubomir Hristov was a special guest at the opening of the Student Games 2011-2012 and congratulated the winners and teachers on behalf of Sofia’s mayor, Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova. Teachers were also greeted by the Deputy Minister of Physical Education and Sports, Mr. Ivan Tsenov.
