President Rewards Ivan Ivanov

 

New President, new John Atanasoff!

ACS's brilliant senior Ivan Ivanov earned the honor of being awarded the John Atanasoff Presidential Prize, for a second time. This year, he was rewarded for excellence in the category "Debut breakthrough in computer science" which is awarded for high-level scientific work.

Last year, then-President Rossen Plevneliev gave Ivan his prize, and this time it was Roumen Radev's turn.

Ivan wrote: "I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me and stood by my side in the course of my work. I promise to keep up my perseverance and strive to achieve even higher results."
