JUNIOR JUMPSTART 2011 A GREAT SUCCESS!

The 11th graders participated in this year’s edition of Junior Jumpstart on Wednesday, the 9th of February.

The College Counseling Department presented several sessions about preparing for the long road to admission into a university. Topics included, “Studying in the UK”, “Studying in the USA”, “Studying in Europe”, “Essays and Personal Statements”, and “Financial Aid”. To close out the day’s activities, the students participated in “Mock Admission Committees”.

Junior Jumpstart is a special program to get today’s 11th graders to start thinking about their 12th-grade year and what they want to do after they graduate. It’s never too soon to be thinking about what university to attend!
