Interact Club's Easter Gift

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” - Winston Churchill

One of this year’s missions of Interact Club ACS, part of the widely renowned Rotary organization, was raising money for the "Love", "Hope", and "Saint Mina" homes for disabled children and orphans in Pavlikeni, Bulgaria. After sending food, hygiene products, and Christmas treats to the homes in December, the club members decided to do another big donation for Easter. Using the money raised in their charity campaign earlier this school year, the club was able once again to buy more than 80 kilograms of rice, beans, pasta, flour, oil, chocolate, and cheese for the girls and boys, aged 3 to 18.

Interact Club wrote, “We would like to thank again everyone who took part in the charitable process: all ACS students, parents, and teachers who donated to our cause. We are very happy to be part of a community that values the art of giving and helps make good changes in somebody else’s life. We would also like to acknowledge the crucial role of the express delivery services Speedy. None of this would have been possible without the generous offer of Speedy to transport the products to the orphanages for free.”
