European Youth Parliament: Voices of Change

The voices of the youth are the voices of change, so we are extremely proud that our ACS seniors Stefania Filipova '25 and Nicole Alexieva '25 helped other young people voice their views.

Stefania and Nicole, along with Adriana Atanasova '27, Beloslava Alexieva '27, and Emilia Popova '25, organized the Regional Selection Conference Pleven 2025 - an event part of the European Youth Parliament Bulgaria. The European Youth Parliament Bulgaria organises conferences that simulate the activities of the EP in an informal learning setting, focusing on cultural exchange and political participation of the youth. In addition to participants from Bulgaria, young people from Italy, Spain, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, France and Finland took part in the conference.

The event was supported by the Branch Business Chamber Pleven, with the President of the Chamber, Ralitsa Taslakova, stressing the importance of awareness and support for young people. Municipal Councillor Chavdar Hristanov also expressed support for the forum, which also received media coverage by platforms like BTA and BNR, noting that it opens up new opportunities for Pleven.
