Class Rep Positions Open for ACS Alumni of All Classes
In line with the steady growing of the ACS community and to enhance the communication with and within the current and future alumni classes, the ACS Alumni Relations, Development, and Admissions Office would like to create the volunteer position of Class Representative. Each alumni class will have two Class Representatives, determined by a class-wide online vote.
Class Representatives will be elected for a 1-year term, and their duties will include:
-
Acting as the key liaison between their Class and the Alumni Relations, Development, and Admissions Office
-
Leading their classmates by example and attending official ACS activities/events (especially reunions)
-
Helping organize and promote unofficial alumni activities (mini reunions, local parties, and others)
-
Helping keep a current email/contact list for their class
-
Highlighting significant accomplishments of their fellow classmates and encouraging them to submit Class Notes, both to be used in the ACS Alumni Magazine
-
Providing assistance during the September launch of the new ACS Alumni Fund for donations
-
Making sure that the voice of their classmates is heard and that the bonds forged during the years spent at ACS as students remain as strong!
Nominations are now open to alumni of all classes! To run for one of the two Class Representative positions, alumni need to send their name, class year, and a one-paragraph statement of interest to help their classmates in their decision, by Sunday, May 20th to p.mironova@acs.bg. Elections will take place online between Tuesday, May 22nd and Thursday, May 31st. Further details will be circulated once all nominations are received.
Thank you for helping us shape our community!
