Art Diploma from Finland

Congratulations to ACS Senior Kalina Stoilova who won a diploma from The 16th International Art Exhibition for Children and Young People "Together" in Finland. The exhibition supports children's culture and art education as well as equality in the multicultural world.

Art Centre received 6800 artworks from 66 countries, including 29 from Bulgaria.

The organizers summed up:

"The works show cultural differences but also the things connecting us all: a need for friendship, closeness and safety. Love and tenderness belong to everyone. Although different outside, inside we are all alike.

"The works in the exhibition show also the downsides of living together. Sharing a living space may lead to abuse, being caught or even to war. A sorrow of loneliness and being an outsider are also present in the works. Yet it is sometimes good to be just by oneself."

A jury of professional artists and art educators judged the participating works. The jury awarded 670 works with diplomas.
