ACS Teacher Received an Award for Creative Writing

We are proud to announce that Svetlina Georgieva, a teacher in Bulgarian Language and Literature at the College, was among the prize-winners of the Third National Competition for Creative Writing that was organized for teachers by “Anubis” and Bulvest” publishing houses. Ms Georgieva's poem “Values” was published in a book that collected the best literary pieces of the participants this year.

For the last three years, more than 1000 teachers from schools and kindergartens from all over Bulgaria have taken part in the competition with more than 3000 poems, short stories, and essays. Nikolay Tabakov – writer, Bojko Lambovski – poet, and prof. Boyan Biolchev were the members of the jury this year.
