ACS Dominates Debates Tournament

 

 

ACS 11th grader and debates veteran Kristiya Navushtanova brought us this great news:

Once again, ACS dominated the regional tournament in debates organized by BEST Foundation, with all of the teams advancing to the finals in both divisions coming from the college.

 

The final ranking was as follows:

 
Novice Division:
1. Daria Tsaneva, Victoria Papazova and Ellie Vitanova
2. Boris Beev, Simona Yordanova and Ivo Yordanov 
 
Best speaker award in the Novice division also went to an ACS student, Ellie Vitanova.
 
Varsity division:
1. Zachary Nickolaev, Nikola Michaylov and Kristiya Navushtanova
2. Nikolay Dzhambov, Asen Peshev and Preslava Boycheva.
 
 
Furthermore, ACS is organizing its annual debate competition, ACS Debate Open, where we expect teams to face each other in challenging debates and discussions and have a great time. The competition will take place on March 24-25, and we expect teams from all around Bulgaria to take part. 
 
We want to invite everyone, who wants to witness critical discussions on current affairs, economic development and various other topics, to come and enjoy our competition!
