ACS Debaters - BEST

A proud Debate Club advisor, Mr. Iain Flannery shared May 3 the latest good news from the ACS student debaters:

"I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate our debate club members on their success this past weekend at the BEST (Bulgarian English Speech and Debate Tournaments Foundation) National Debate tournament held in Plovdiv. Over 400 students from around Bulgaria participated in this tournament. Here's what our students accomplished:

The top four rankings in the varsity debate tournament were all held by ACS teams.

In the novice level we had ACS teams ranked at second, third, and fourth place.

I also would like to thank Ms. Ninova, Ms. O'Keefe, and Ms.Tang for taking the time from their busy schedules to chaperone our students for this important event."
