The ACS Human Rights Moot Court is an event which will give high school students the opportunity to take part in a "simulation" of a court trial. Students will be able to get into the roles of lawyers and defendants, and will gain an insight about the way the European Court of Human Rights operates, which will be beneficial for those who want to pursue a career in law. The event will take place on March 16th, 2024 at The American College of Sofia and is organized by ACS Seniors as a part of their SIHP Project.

Why to participate?

Participating in the event would allow students to gain insight into the dynamics of a court trial and would be beneficial for those who want to pursue a career related to legal education or simply learn more about law. By taking part in this event students will improve a number of abilities like organization skills, leadership skills, working under pressure and performing in front of an audience. Most importantly, by the end of the trial students will have a deeper understanding of human rights.

Refistration form available on the website of the event or here.
