Math Competition for Language Schools? Let's Ace It.

Nadezhda Konstantinova, the Math and Computer Science Department Chair, came to us with this wonderful news:

"On the day of the Entrance Exam, I'm happy to announce that ACS students won most of the medals at each grade level (14 medals total) at the Math Competition between all Language Schools in Bulgaria (as they do every year)."
 
Someone told us that numbers are important in math, so here are the numbers:
 
ACS students won:

·         8th grade: 1st place - 2 students; 2nd place - 1 student; 3rd place - 1 student.

·         9th grade: 1st place - 1 student; 2nd place - 2 students; 3rd place - 1 student.

·         10th grade: 1st place - 1 student; 2nd place - 1 student; 4th place - 1 student.

·         11th grade: only one 11th grader took part in the competition so we have one 1st place.

·         12th grade: 1st place - 2 students; 2nd place - 1 student.
