Harvard Prize Book
Two ACS students - Kristiya Navushtanova and Boyana Atanasova - were just selected by the Harvard Club of Bulgaria to receive the 2016 Harvard Prize Book.
This prestigious award is given by many Harvard alumni clubs worldwide in order to recognize outstanding students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and achievement in other nonacademic areas. This is the first time that HCB is making this opportunity available to students nationwide in Bulgaria.
To select the recipients of the award, Teach for Bulgaria partnered with several educational organizations, including The Institute of Mathematics and Informatics for Students (partner of MIT‘s Research Science Institute), the American Councils for International Education (administrator of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study program), and BEST Foundation. These partners nominated their most outstanding students who were then further interviewed.
There are three books available for presentation as a Prize Book: The Harvard Book (boasting among its authors John Updike and Thomas Wolfe), Harvard A-Z, or Making the Most of College: Students Speak Their Minds.
