UK University Fair at ACS, April 19: Meet with 10 of the UK's Top Ranking Universities § Oxford
Dear Students, Parents and Friends of ACS,
On April 19, the College Counseling Department of The American College of Sofia would like to invite you to a University Fair for students, parents and guidance counsellors delivered by 10 of the UK's top ranking universities, as follows:
University of Bath - Ranked 5th best university in the UK by the Guardian University Guide 2018
University of East Anglia - UEA
Goldsmiths, University of London
University of Southampton - Top 1% university worldwide
The Fair will take place in the basement of Sanders Hall, from 9:40 am till 11:30 am.
The Fair will allow you to engage in conversation with the University representatives on details including all aspects of the application process, course choice, entrance requirements, admissions tests and interviews.
We warmly welcome teachers, guidance counsellors, and parents/guardians to attend too.
Additionally, later the same day, the College Counseling Department of The American College of Sofia would like to invite you to
an information session for students, parents and guidance counsellors delivered by Alice Parrott, Student Recruitment Officer (UK & Europe) from the University of Oxford's Undergraduate Admissions Office.
The presentation will take place in our Concert Hall, Building #5 at 6 pm.
In this session Alice Parrott will cover applying to university in the UK and Oxford specifically. It will outline some of the distinctive features of the teaching and learning environment offered at the University. Oxford is the number one university in the world according to the Times Higher Education World Rankings 2017-18 and therefore entry is competitive. This presentation will include details on every aspect of the application process including, course choice, entrance requirements, admissions tests and interviews. This session will not cover graduate programs at Oxford.
These sessions are aimed at those considering undergraduate study at Oxford University, who intend to start their studies in Autumn 2019 or 2020. We warmly welcome teachers, guidance counsellors, and parents/guardians to attend too.
