THE FIRST MINI BOOK FAIR AT ACS - A GREAT SUCCESS

Dear Parents, Students, Teachers, and Administrators of the American College of Sofia,

The PTA of the American College of Sofia thanks all of you who participated in the Book Island mini book fair on December 5 and 6 and supported through your book purchases the fundraiser dedicated to the Student Activities Fund (SAF). Thanks to your support and the kind cooperation by the publishing houses Janet 45, Kibea, Knigomania, Roboread, as well as by Spisanie 8 and Alexander Shpatov from the ACS Class of 2004, we raised 936.20 BGN in favor of SAF.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to the initiator of the event Ms. Spaska Ananoshteva, to Mr. Stanislav Statev, Ms. Elena Chorbadjiiska and Ms. Nikoleta Moldovanska who contacted the publishing houses and convinced them to support our cause, to Dr. Paul Johnson for the valuable guidance he offered in organizing the event, to Ms. Natalia Manolova who always helps the coordination of the PTA initiatives, to Ms. Lidia Pak, Ms. Boriana Kissiova, Ms. Iliana Ilieva, Ms. Nikolina Petkova and Mr. Nikolay Lekov for their time and efforts during this fundraising drive, and last but not least to Ms. Maria Angelova who encouraged us to bring to realization this wonderful idea that we sincerely hope to become a tradition at ACS.
