The American College of Sofia Launches Distance Learning

Effective Friday, March 13, the American College of Sofia will be resuming classes by utilizing the school’s established technological resources. Students will continue to receive assignments and lessons at home via their personal Chromebook computers that have been provided by ACS. The College is committed to advancing the school’s mission and continuing the teaching and learning process for all of our students.

This step wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of USAID’s American Schools & Hospitals Abroad division and all donors who helped provide the Chromebooks for students, helping turn ACS into an innovative school capable of facing and overcoming challenges such as a long-term school closing. 

The American College of Sofia is actively following reports and directives from national and international health and educational authorities, and we will be publishing information about the curriculum and extra-curricular activities, as well as events related to life at ACS.
