Silver Cup in Math

The Mathematics and Computer Science Department is happy to announce that Hristo Papazov and Ivan Ganev (Grade 11) won bronze medals at the annual national Fall Mathematics Tournament, while ACS’s Grade 11 won the Silver Cup.

The competition, which took place on November 15 in Sofia, is the first step in the selection of the Bulgarian teams for the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad and the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad. The competition involved practically the best 494 students from all the important math schools in Bulgaria, as well as students from Craiova (Romania), ACS, and a few others. Our team ranked second after the Sofia Math School.
