Science Fair 2018

Yes, we know that Science Fair is tons of work, research, model-building, etc. But to the audience that crowds the exhibition, Science Fair is one single thing above all else: FUN!

What a fascinating world we witnessed in the Bubble! A myriad worlds, actually.

We dug into the soil to extract energy, we flew in the stratosphere to observe earthquakes, we dipped our fingers in goo to experience non-Newtonian liquids. It was fun. We wanted more. Or rather, we wanted it to last longer. Careful what you wish for, because FISSION arrived the next day.

So after we enjoyed the above-mentioned wonders, we voted. Here are the audience winners of Science Fair 2018:

Best Model: Anti-Kyphosis Backpack and Soil Chargers by the dynamic duo of Nikolay Mitev and Alexander Zhelyazkov.

Best Experiment: Singing Flowers by charming wunderkinds Kristiya Navushtanova and Mira Markova.

The Chair of the Science Department Krassimira Chakarova said it best: "Congratulations! The vote for these projects was far removed from the uncertainty of any statistics!"
