Rotational Exam Schedule

Effective January 24, 2022

As high schools in Sofia have been directed to switch to a rotational class schedule, effective Monday, January 24, the ACS end of semester exams will take place as follows: 

  • Grades 10, 12, 11 IB, & 12 IB: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday exams with morning COVID-19 testing on Monday and Wednesday
  • Grades 8, 9, &11: Tuesday and Thursday exams with morning COVID-19 testing on both days

All morning exams will start at 10 am, and all afternoon exams - at 1:30 pm. Morning COVID-19 testing will begin at 8:30 am.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Education and Science from January 21, January 31 through February 4 will be vacation days. 

The American College of Sofia will be holding an additional Vaccination Day on Friday, January 28 led by a team appointed by the Regional Health Inspectorate. All approved vaccines will be available and we encourage all ACS students and relatives to take  advantage of this opportunity.
