Recent Math Successes of ACS Students

Results from the Winter Competitions in Mathematics, Informatics, and Mathematical Linguistics.

The Winter Competitions in Mathematics, Informatics, and Mathematical Linguistics took place on March 3-5 in Varna, Bourgas, and Veliko Tarnovo. Our students competed with about 1000 math school students from all over Bulgaria.

In the mathematical competition in Varna, Kubrat Danailov (Grade 12) won First Place, and Kristian Kiradzhiev (Grade 11) won Third Award.

At the mathematical competition in Bourgas, our 8th-grade team – Martin Vezhdarski, Radostina Kalaydzhieva, Zdravko Zahariev, and Valentina Mihaylova – ranked fifth, after the traditionally strong teams from the Sofia Math School, the National Gymnasium of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the Gymnasium of Natural Sciences and Mathematics – Bourgas, and the Math School – Varna.
