New Success in Informatics

The national round of the 31st Olympiad in Informatics was held on April 24-27 in Kardzhali. ACS had two representatives in group "C" where the total quota from Sofia is just 4 students - Ivan Ivanov from section 9/2 and Nikolay Blagoev from 8/5.

After two consecutive days of competition, Ivan Ivanov won a bronze medal in a very challenging competition with the best students - programmers in Bulgaria. Nicholay took the honorable 18th place in the final ranking after overtaking 8 of his rivals on the second day. Ivan's achievement ranks him automatically in the extended youth national team of Informatics. This fact gives him the right to fight to become one of the best four students who will form the final junior national team and will participate in international competitions. With two more control competitions coming, let's wish him success!
