New Memorial Dedicated to the American College

On June 1st, an opening ceremony of a new memorial took place in Samokov. The memorial, dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the American College, was sponsored by Rotary Club Samokov.

It is located at the same place where in 1871 Dr. James F. Clarke founded the first co-educational American College in Bulgaria.

Among the guests who attended the ceremony were Kiril Moskov, President of Rotary Club Samokov, Dr. Paul K. Johnson, President of ACS, members of Rotary Club Samokov, and ACS students.
