Blood Donation Initiative at ACS

The event, named “Donate Blood, Save a Life” will take place on March 25, between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

The initiative is organized by our senior Katerina Hristova as a part of her Senior Independent Honors Project (SIHP) dedicated to encouraging people to donate blood. Her SIHP teacher sponsor is Mr. Richard Braithwaite. The event that will take place on March 25 is organized with the support of the National Center of Haematology and Transfusion.

ACS students over the age of 18, as well as teachers have signed up for the blood drive. Some of them will donate blood for the first time and they all are very excited by the fact that their blood will help save somebody’s life.
