ACSers with Remarkable Performance at the International Physics Brawl Online
ACS 11th graders Martin Lozanov, Ivan Gyulev and Viktor Velichkov of team PAPRIKA_V and Teodora Marinova, competing on team Bae Ivan, performed remarkably at the international scientific Online Physics Brawl, against teams from 50 countries and ranked at 13th place in their respective categories.
The two teams “kicked around” many competitors and finished first among all Bulgarian Physics teams in their respective categories. In the overall ranking, PAPRIKA_V came in 76th, and Bae Ivan was 38th out of the 839 teams from India, the UK, the US and the Czech Republic and around the world.
Physics Brawl Online challenges participants to solve as many physics problems as possible in three hours and is organized by a student formation from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University. The online brawl takes place on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
