ACS Wins Volleyball Open

ACS volleyball teams and coaches make us proud once again. At the just finished ACS Open, our players gave their top game and deservedly won top ranks.

After demolishing the teams of the Sofia Math High School, the Spanish Language High School, the National School for Ancient Languages and Cultures (NGDEK), and Zlatarski High School, our first and second boys’ teams played each other at the finals. Can you guess who won what? ACS I Boys took first place and ACS II Boys took second place.

In the girls’ division, our two teams faced each other at the semi finals. ACS I Girls took third place, while ACS II Girls settled in fourth.

Athletic Director Borislav Dimitrov commented, addressing the coaches: “Even though we coach our students to play for victory every match, winning has never been at all costs for us. However, this year you and your players demonstrated skills, fair play, and motivation above and beyond the possibilities of your opponents.”

Healthy spirit in a healthy body, indeed! And a special shout out to the fans and cheerleaders who filled the air with their support, good vibes, and mighty cheers.
