ACS Table Tennis Success Continues

After becoming the ACS Open Table Tennis Tournament champions just 10 days ago, the ACS table tennis girls team continued to reap laurels and became Sofia champions, as well, at the School Games 2013-14 held April 22-23. Not only did Desislava Apostolova (10/1), Veronika Kaikamdzozova (8/2), Elizabeth Dzambazova (10/6), and Klimentina Gicheva (10/4) perform excellent as a team but they took all the medals at the individual tournament which followed whereas Vicky became individual champion of Sofia, Dessy was second, and Betty - third!

The ACS table tennis boys’ team who took the second place at our very own ACS Open Tournament 10 days ago, came very close to the bronze but finished in fact fourth at the Sofia School Games, also a very reputable ranking. At the individual tournament Mark Hadzizhekov (8/5) played at the final and became vice-champion of Sofia for which we congratulate him warmly! Thanks also to Nikolay Budurov (9/2) and Simeon Stefanov (9/4) of the boys' team and the coaches Dinkov and Dimitrov for a great job!
