ACS Success at the Student Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences

Seven ACSers take part in the 11th Scientific Session

Who says science is boring?

Our ACSers with their bright ideas proved that science is the new black.

With a wide range of interests and strong research skills nurtured by our dedicated science teachers, ACS students participated in the Eleventh Scientific Session of the Student Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

We take pride in supporting girls in science and our ACS team exemplified diversity with three female ACS students. Here the list of all who took part in the scientific session: Vladislav Natchev (Grade 11), Vasil Stoykov (Grade 11), Deyan Bozhkov (Grade 12), Atanas Ivanovski (Grade 12), Boriana Kiurkchieva (Grade 12), Elitsa Dekova (Grade 10), and Yana Jordanova (Grade 10).

Congratulations to all our young scientists! Notably, Vladislav Natchev earned the First Prize in mathematics for his project titled “Apollonian Sphere.” The project has an original contribution to Olympic stereometry, expressed in the discovery of new geometric constructions, configurations, and objects.

Atanas Ivanovski and Boriana Kiurkchieva secured the Second Prize in the humanities category with their project “How Could Adopting the Euro Impact Income Inequality in Bulgaria?” Additionally, Deyan Bozhkov received an award for excellent performance for his project on “Binary Codes with Forbidden Elements.”

Here’s to more scientific achievements in 2025!
