ACS Success at the Regional Round of the National Informatics Olympiad

Congratulations to Nora Paskaleva and Maria Nedkova!

ACS Eleventh-grader Nora Paskaleva and ninth-grader Maria Nedkova performed outstandingly at the Regional Round of the National Informatics Olympiad held on February 5, 2024. In the group of Grade 11-12 students Nora Paskaleva earned 210 points and qualified for the National round of the Informatics Olympiad. And so did Maria in the group of Grade 9-10 students with 77 points. Both of them are currently second in the rankings for their age for girls, Maria with a total of 178 points and Nora with 265 points.

Both Maria and Nora are actively involved in the ACS Competitive Informatics Club, with Nora serving as its president. The advisors of the Club are ACS teachers Dr Paulina Todorova and Dr Rositsa Todorova. 

We congratulate Nora and Maria and wish them the best of luck at the National Informatics Olympiad, which will be held on March 9-10 in Haskovo.
