ACS STUDENTS WITH PRIZES FROM THE MULTILINGUAL NATIONAL COMPETITION

Our participants performed very well at the national round in Plovdiv on November 29, winning one first place, one second place, and two third places.

1st place /with diploma/ - Galena Sardamova 11/5. She competed in the Spanish-English version.

3rd place /with diploma/ - Tsveta Kamenova 11/4 (Spanish-English version)

2nd place /with diploma/ - Stoyan Trenchev 11/1 (German-English version)

3rd place /with diploma/ - Bogdan Rizov 10/7 (German-English version)

The multilingual competition is held annually in November and it consists of two rounds - regional and national. Students from grades 10 and 11 from all over Bulgaria traditionally participate in the competition. They listen to a text in a foreign language and write a text in another foreign language. The languages that students can choose to compete with are: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. The ACS students took part in the following combinations: listening to German - writing in English and listening to Spanish - writing in English.
