ACS Students with Excellent Results at a Debate Competition

On November 8, a group of 9 ACS students participated in the national round of the European Youth Parliamentary Debate which was hosted by the Bulgarian National Assembly with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Water in Bulgaria.

The debate was dedicated to the cons and pros of the use of plastics in the context of conservation of energy and the environment. In total 11 schools and 119 students participated in the debate. At the end of the round, 11 students from all schools were selected to participate in the European round in Rome next spring. Out of these 11 students, 4 were from the American College of Sofia: seniors Stefan Kourdov and Eltimir Alexandrov, junior Margarita Todorova, and Svetoslav Kostov from 10 Grade.
