ACS BASKET TEAMS VICTORIOUS AT THE AAS OPEN TOURNAMENT

The ACS boys’ basketball team won the AAS Open tournament after winning all their games over the weekend. They had already defeated the National Finance and Business High School and the eternal nemesis from 35th High School in the pool. In the semifinal ACS boys beat the hosts from the Anglo-American School and in an exciting final match they defeated the Sofia Math School (last year’s ACS Open winners) with 65-59.

The ACS girls’ basketball team won two of its three games over the weekend and finished second at the AAS Open. Congratulations to all ACS basket players and coaches Altman, Lenze, and Meirick for a fantastic tournament this weekend!
