Parent-Teacher Day

Dear ACS Parents,

We look forward to welcoming you to this year’s Parent Teacher Day. Our faculty and all who support the ACS student experience are excited and proud to more personally introduce you to the ACS 2024-2025 school year.  For those of you who are new to ACS, Parent Teacher Day is one of many events dedicated to building home-school relationships. 

Parent Teacher Day is divided into two parts. The first part of this event consists of presentations posted online designed to introduce you to your child’s classroom teachers and to inform you of course expectations and instructional goals. 

On Saturday, October 5, we welcome you to campus from 10:30-12:30 for the actual Parent Teacher Day. The goal of this event is to provide time for you to interact informally with your child’s classroom teachers and with additional program areas of interest. Departments will be stationed at different locations across campus, allowing you to move freely to meet this exceptional group of educators. 

As you move from one department or program to another, you will also have the opportunity to meet parents. We know that this is important. Just as our faculty and students are exceptional, so is our parent body. To support you, a Parent Ambassador area will be set up in front of the fountain. Here, you can meet a few parents and learn more about the important role of parents within our community. 

Like every year, this year is one that will bring countless opportunities to grow and to connect as a community. Thank you for taking the time to review what will be shared on Thursday and for attending the event this Saturday. While we can’t promise good weather, we can promise great company.
