Celebrating a Teacher’s Legacy: Announcing the Ani Ivanova Fund for Young Mathematicians

November 18, 2025 – During her 30 years of teaching Math at the College, Ani Ivanova positively impacted countless students. Her dedication and patience in the classroom were matched by her empathy and support as a mentor.

When Ani passed away on November 18, 2024, her students and colleagues mourned deeply. Inspired by one of her former students, ACS alumnus Andrey Evtimov, Class of 2002, the Ani Ivanova Fund for Young Mathematicians was established a year later.

This fund honors a devoted teacher and compassionate person by supporting ACS students who compete in local, national, and international mathematics competitions - celebrating Ani’s passion for nurturing curiosity and excellence in problem-solving.
