Arts Fest 2026: A Day of Talent and Giving
More than EUR 22 000 raised in support of the Tuition Reduction Program, student activities, and campus improvements
July 14, 2026 --- On June 6, the American College of Sofia welcomed students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the school to Arts Fest 2026, one of the College's most cherished traditions.
Under sunny skies, the ACS community came together for a day filled with music, performances, student-led initiatives, games, and opportunities to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Since its beginnings in 1995, Arts Fest has been much more than a celebration of creativity. It reflects the values that bring our community together: talent, generosity, engagement, and mutual support.
Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed a wide variety of performances, explored student club exhibits, and discovered the many interests and talents that students develop at ACS. From music, dance, and visual arts to robotics, entrepreneurship, athletics, and community service, creativity was on display across campus.
Arts Fest is also a day when students share their passions and achievements, and the entire ACS community comes together to celebrate and support them.
We thank the American College community for its support of Arts Fest, the largest fundraising event of the year and a celebration of our students' talents. The total amount raised in donations before the festival and during the event on June 6 amounts to EUR 22,491.38. A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors: Technopolis, Praktiker, Lidl, EM Design, EY, Baldaran, Izida Ice Cream, Britos, Mahala Bookstore, Liliya Flower Shop, and Smart Organic as well as our faculty and staff.
We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to our amazing Parent Ambassadors, who went above and beyond by donating funds, providing incredible raffle prizes, and supplying coffee and refreshments for Arts Fest.
The funds will support improvements to athletic facilities on campus and help sustain the Tuition Reduction Program, a cornerstone of the College's mission. Based entirely on demonstrated financial need, the program helps ensure that talented students from diverse social, cultural, economic, and geographic backgrounds can access an ACS education regardless of their family's financial circumstances.
Arts Fest once again demonstrated the strength of the ACS community. Students shared their talents and projects, alumni returned as volunteers and supporters, parents contributed their time and energy, and faculty and staff helped bring the event to life.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of Arts Fest 2026. Thanks to your support, this beloved tradition continues to bring the ACS community together while helping create opportunities for future generations of students.
