ACS Phoenix Reaches the Finals at FIRST Robotics
April 1, 2026 --- We are happy to share the recent achievements of the ACS Phoenix Robotics Team at the FIRST Robotics Competition - Haliç Regional in Istanbul, Türkiye, held last week.
Our team competed in seven qualification matches, experiencing a mix of results - some hard-earned victories, a few losses, and one draw. Throughout these matches, the robot demonstrated strong performance in several games. At times, however, we faced technical challenges, including mechanical issues and connection difficulties. Despite these setbacks, the team showed resilience, adaptability, and determination.
Thanks to their perseverance, ACS Phoenix successfully advanced to the play-offs. There, the team competed in four intense matches, achieving three wins and one loss, ultimately securing a place in the finals.
In the final round, ACS Phoenix faced a formidable opponent - the reigning champion of the past few years. Our team fought with great determination and spirit, delivering an impressive performance. Although we did not take home the championship title, reaching the finals is a significant accomplishment and a testament to the team’s hard work, collaboration, and dedication.
We congratulate all team members for their outstanding effort and for representing our school with excellence and pride.
