ACS Grade 10 Students Deliver Outstanding Performance in National External Assessments

July 7, 2026 --- The American College of Sofia is proud to celebrate the outstanding performance of its Grade 10 students in this year's National External Assessments (NEA), once again achieving results well above both the Sofia and national averages.

On the Bulgarian Language and Literature assessment, ACS students earned an average of 77.22 points, significantly exceeding the average score for Sofia (54.40 points) and the national average (45.49 points).

The results in Mathematics were equally impressive. ACS students achieved an average of 82.47 points, compared with 37.80 points for Sofia and 30.34 points nationwide.

The National External Assessments measure students' knowledge and competencies acquired during the first stage of upper secondary education and provide valuable feedback on their academic progress.

Congratulations to our Grade 10 students on their excellent achievement, and heartfelt thanks to their teachers for their dedication, expertise, and continuous support throughout the school year.
