ACS Career Fair: Preparing Students for the Real World
April 30, 2026 --- Every career starts somewhere and at the American College of Sofia, students are encouraged to take those first steps with confidence.
On April 15, ACS Career Day brought the real world into the classroom through a dynamic program of guest speakers, alumni, and parent professionals. The day began with Entrepreneurship classes focused on careers in finance and business. Representatives of UBB, Postbank, a trading broker and HR specialist shared personal insights on career beginnings, growth, and the skills needed to succeed.
In the afternoon, professionals and alumni joined elective courses, connecting academic subjects with real-world practice. Among them were Vladislava Susanina (Psychology), Dara Sapundzhieva (Journalism), Diana Kirkova (Graphic and Motion Design), Teodosiya Kirilova (Tax Law), Tsvetomir Yosifov (International Law), Velian Bakalov (Entrepreneurship and Sports), Lyubomir Ganev (Bulgarian Volleyball Federation), and representatives from Start Up Bulgaria.
The day concluded with an alumni panel, “How I Got My First Job,” featuring Kalin Bojkov (Rittbul), Diana Dimitrova (A Data Pro), Valentina Georgieva (Revolut), and Rosen Vutov (Tender Alpha), who shared honest reflections on their first professional steps.
From finance and law to sports and the arts, Career Day highlighted the diversity of paths ahead- reinforcing ACS’s commitment to preparing students for a confident takeoff into the real world.
