We Help You Shine in Writing
What We Offer
We help you strengthen your writing and communication skills by providing resources, workshops, and one-on-one support for all kinds of assignments and projects that require writing, i.e. academic essays, presentations, personal statements, creative writing, and more.
Writers from all levels are welcome! Students can come for help at any point in the writing/creation process. Rather that providing a proofreading service, we teach you the skills to become a better, more confident writer. We focus on the process, not just the product: brainstorming ideas, outlining, structuring arguments, citing sources (MLA/APA), and more.
ACS students can schedule consultations with one of our writing center tutors using our appointment calendar above.

Events
The Jim Clayton Writing Center sponsors various creative writing events, including our longstanding annual DeLux literary competition with the Anglo-American School (AAS). The two schools alternate hosting duties and share judging responsibilities, with separate editions for prose and poetry.
