The Student Activities Fund (SAF) is founded by members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and the Alumni Fund Advisory Committee (AFAC) at ACS to support student projects, activities, and events. This year SAF has a budget of 2,000 BGN to disburse and the maximum grant per project, activity, or event would be 500 BGN.
The opportunity is open to all student clubs and athletic teams at ACS. Attached please find the latest and final documents that are being distributed as part of announcing the SAF's spring 2014 funding round. The Powerpoint Presentation goes into more details about the fund and timetables. The Word document contains the student application form that must be completed and explains how to submit the form. We have sent this information to students as well as faculty club and project advisors.
The SAF committee will consist of three parents, three students, three alumni, the Dean of students, and Ms. Tsvetkova as faculty representative. The extended deadline for submitting a proposal is April 30. Short-listed teams will be notified by May 7, and final presentations in front of the jury will take place on May 9-10.
